Those fats may look scary, but 9g is good fats from avocado. Forego the Clover buttery spread on your rye to save 6.5g of fat and 59 calories.

Sadly, as with nearly all prepacked foods and condiments, the horseradish has a few “unclean” additives in it: xanthan gum (on the CSPI’s probably harmless list), sodium METABISULPHITE (E223 – acceptable daily intake is up to 0.7 milligrams per kilogram of body weight ) and glucose fructose syrup. But, you’re only using 7.5ml (a large teaspoon) of sauce, so not such a major concern.

The corned beef should be the reduced salt variety, like the Princes brand we found here. That contributes 1.1g of salt, which is approaching 1/5th your Adult Reference Intake. As, with most processed meats, a preservative is present: Sodium Nitrite (typically used to ‘pink’ the meat and prevent botulism ).

Products:-

Putting a lid on it (an extra slice of rye – dry) will cost 115 calories, add 17g carbs and 4.6g protein.
