As the routine becomes familiar the fluidity improves. The first cycle feels like the longest but it goes quickly after that – crikey it’s only 25 minutes there’s no excuse. Maintained  34lb but kept weight further away from body. Still struggling on overhead isometric as bag wants to flop on my head and can’t quite get my arms at 90o as head/face in the way.

Hi Kirsty, if your GripSack is a bit under filled and therefore floppy, there’s an easy way to fix that: just add polystyrene packaging chips, bubble wrap, or a bit of that foam pipe insulation to fill some space. Even rags works! Once, you’re up to 40lb (which will be no time the rate you’re going) that works for a 50-70 – Steve, @miniworkoutdad

36lb. 9 rounds. Moves flowing nicely into each other now. Noticing left hand grip strength is … well rubbish (nails need to be short ladies!). Favoured form over increasing weight as advised. Smashed it.

Much cooler now. But a tough one. Maybe because I was drinking wine last night?

1/2 full coarse sand. Everything good except moving bag off neck in one move…..  it enough back of arm gumption. Split lunges struggled with form. Everything else good

  • Workout 1, but week 2!

This weather is making me go very flush! Proves I did a tough workout though! 8 rounds this time, pushing for 9 next!
