William after workout number three of his Kickstart

Day three was the most difficult mentally so far.  I was feeling lazy today and did not want to do it.  I had to remind myself that I’m an adult and sometimes we do what we need to do, not what we want to do.  As soon as I completed that last lunge, it felt all worth it.  That’s why I’m writing this down, to remind myself of this feeling when it is complete.  The boost in pride, self-esteem, and trust in myself…it’s worth it.  I bumped my weight up to 30lbs.  My hands were screaming by the second cycle.  I think I’ll stick with 30lbs for a bit.  I still haven’t completed a workout in 25 minutes, oh, but it’s coming.

Hey William – I love the mental switch you made 💪 It’s always worth it when you’re finished! It’s great that you’re thinking about pushing yourself already too – Steve, @miniworkoutdad

Enjoyed the workout. I’m using the 16kg bag with a 2.5kg weight plate attached.

  • Workout 2

3 x rounds (9 cycles) Struggled to keep bag in front for  front upper isometric (it became more of an overhead isometric) as my bag is not as turgid as yours (I’ve only 3/4 filled to break myself in) and bag was catching my face/ head. Fixed by tightening up the strap on the Front…
