William after workout number three of his Kickstart

Day three was the most difficult mentally so far.  I was feeling lazy today and did not want to do it.  I had to remind myself that I’m an adult and sometimes we do what we need to do, not what we want to do.  As soon as I completed that last lunge, it felt all worth it.  That’s why I’m writing this down, to remind myself of this feeling when it is complete.  The boost in pride, self-esteem, and trust in myself…it’s worth it.  I bumped my weight up to 30lbs.  My hands were screaming by the second cycle.  I think I’ll stick with 30lbs for a bit.  I still haven’t completed a workout in 25 minutes, oh, but it’s coming.

Hey William – I love the mental switch you made 💪 It’s always worth it when you’re finished! It’s great that you’re thinking about pushing yourself already too – Steve, @miniworkoutdad

I had a four day family gathering (Fri to Mon) where I was away from home. No chance to workout, so this is my belated no. 9. Sorry!

Didn’t fancy this. Did it. Glad I did.  Well done Kirsty. It’s not always easy, but that’s true of anything worth pursuing in life! – Steve, @miniworkoutdad
